Digital Signage has proven to be a very effective communication channel during this period in which most companies are going through a delicate moment of crisis management, especially due to the movements adopted by corporations as a result of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.
At ElringKlinger, the hiring of Digital Signage happened simultaneously with the emergence of the pandemic, and this was not the company’s only communication challenge. Letícia Fernandes, HR analyst and manager of the Digital Signage project at ElringKlinger, comments that she was dissatisfied with the printed murals:
“The digital signage project came at the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, and helped us a lot with communication. We came from a physical mural that was not attractive and, today, we have a digital channel with a variety of topics that were not previously covered in an eye-catching, clear and objective way.”, comments Letícia.
In addition to counting on Progic’s complete technology, that is, management software, screens and digital signage player, ElringKlinger counted on the consultancy and professional services of our specialists with the Corporate Communication Project.
With the validation cycle completed (by the client) in all stages of the implementation, our team was able to complete the delivery of the Project in 28 days. And with the complete channel, that is, with the 32 editorials listed for the programming grid with institutional news, photo galleries, videos, ready-made templates and Progic editorials, not to mention external content from our partners, such as weather forecast news.
With full attention to this new reality of digital internal communication and the importance of this channel for the company’s communication with employees, Fernando Petrolino, CEO of ElringKlinger in Brazil, recorded a presentation video for the TV debut.
“The expectation for the inauguration of the TV was enormous, not only from me, who ran the project from the beginning, but also from everyone involved. It was exciting, it was rewarding. Seeing the employees excited, the managers involved… It was really good! It went much further than expected, and we will still have lots of news!”, comments Letícia.
This was a demonstration of exceptional affection towards all employees, from all areas covered, who were part of the project from the beginning.
When, a few days after the launch, we all entered into a moment of attention due to the pandemic that was taking hold in the country and, consequently, in the corporate world, ElringKlinger digital signage was already a internal communication channel with great engagement.
And this was very favorable when we changed the programming, which had 70% focused on various care, prevention, actions and company decisions related to COVID-19.
“It was fundamental and extremely helpful. Daily, we updated our news and, at the same time, we were able to reassure and inform professionals about the virus and our adopted actions. All this, in real time”, highlights Letícia.
According to Letícia, the decision to adopt the digital signage project came at the right time for the company, for the maturity of internal communication.
And the emergence of the pandemic only ratified his assertiveness:
“I’m suspicious to say, I fell in love with the project from the first presentation of the system and with each new meeting, new information, I felt more excited and happy. This form of communication is happier, more agile, with much more content. I’m excited about the continuity of the project and I’m immensely happy to be part of it!”
